Morning & Evening Daily Protection Adhkar
The morning and evening supplications taught by the Prophet ﷺ are the believer's strongest spiritual shield against the evil eye, witchcraft, satanic whispers, and harmful creatures. Reciting them consistently brings peace and divine safeguarding.
Protection Before Sleep & Ayat al-Kursi
Reciting Ayat al-Kursi before going to sleep ensures that an appointed guardian angel from Allah stays over you, and no devil can approach you until the morning (Bukhari 5017). Combining it with the Three Quls repels nightmares and harmful unseen entities.
Prophetic Supplication for Protecting Children
Young children are vulnerable to evil eye and demonic harms. The Prophet ﷺ used to seek refuge for his grandsons Al-Hasan and Al-Husain, saying: 'Your forefather [Ibrahim] used to seek refuge with these words for Ismail and Ishaq' (Bukhari 3371). This is the authentic alternative to amulets.
Supplication When Halting at a New Place or Traveling
When staying at an unfamiliar house, hotel room, or open land while traveling, the Prophet ﷺ taught this comprehensive supplication that repels harmful creatures and jinn until one departs.
[EN] দাজ্জাল ও যুগের ভয়াবহ ফিতনা থেকে নিরাপত্তা (সূরা আল-কাহাফ)
মানবজাতির ইতিহাসের সর্বাপেক্ষা ভয়ানক পরীক্ষা হলো দাজ্জালের ফিতনা। রাসুলুল্লাহ ﷺ উম্মতকে এই ফিতনা থেকে রক্ষা পাওয়ার জন্য সূরা আল-কাহাফের প্রথম দশটি আয়াত মুখস্থ করার ও আমল করার নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন।
Supplication Before Entering & After Leaving the Lavatory
Before entering the toilet, one should enter with the left foot and seek Allah's protection from male and female evil jinn. The Prophet (ﷺ) would consistently recite a specific supplication before entering (Sahih al-Bukhari 142, Sahih Muslim 375). This is an essential daily protection Sunnah.
Seeking Refuge from Four Evils in the Final Tashahhud of Prayer
The Prophet (ﷺ) commanded that after reciting the Tashahhud in every prayer and before giving the Tasleem, one must seek refuge in Allah from four grave matters: the torment of Hellfire, the punishment of the grave, the trials of life and death, and the evil of the trial of the False Messiah (Dajjal) (Sahih Muslim 588). This is the believer's strongest daily protection, performed five times a day.
Supplication Upon Hearing Thunder
Thunder and lightning are mighty signs of Allah's divine power. When the noble companion Abdullah ibn az-Zubayr (r.a.) heard thunder, he would abandon speech and glorify Allah with words from the Quran (Muwatta Malik 1801, Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 723, Sahih isnad). This is a well-established authentic Sunnah practice for seeking refuge in Allah during severe weather.
Responding to the Adhan and Supplication After It
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'When the call to prayer is announced, Satan flees breaking wind loudly so that he cannot hear the call' (Sahih al-Bukhari 608, Sahih Muslim 389). Responding to the caller to prayer and reciting the supplication of Wasilah after the Adhan is a firmly established Sunnah practice that expels Satan and guarantees the Prophet's intercession (Sahih al-Bukhari 614).
[EN] ঘর ও পরিবারের সুরক্ষা (সূরা আল-বাকারাহ)
ঘরকে শয়তান ও দুষ্ট জ্বিনের অনিষ্ট থেকে সুরক্ষার প্রধান সুন্নাহ হলো ঘরে নিয়মিত কুরআন তিলাওয়াত করা এবং বিশেষত সূরা আল-বাকারাহ পাঠ করা। রাসুলুল্লাহ ﷺ ইরশাদ করেছেন যে ঘরে সূরা আল-বাকারাহ তিলাওয়াত করা হয় সেখান থেকে শয়তান পলায়ন করে।
[EN] ক্রোধ ও শয়তানের কুমন্ত্রণা দূর করার আমল
অতিরিক্ত রাগ বা অন্তরে হঠাৎ অসৎ চিন্তা ও কুমন্ত্রণা শয়তানের প্রত্যক্ষ প্ররোচনা। রাসুলুল্লাহ ﷺ রাগান্বিত ব্যক্তিকে বিতাড়িত শয়তান থেকে আল্লাহর কাছে আশ্রয় প্রার্থনা করার নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন।
